Order Your Kit!

The base kit for the CH 701 comes in a 12'x4'x4' ~900lb crate deliverable to a freight terminal or to your home address, should you feel like unloading it from the truck yourself. Lead time is usually 6-8 weeks.

Carriers and Costs

Zenith uses Yellow Transportation and can use Estes upon request. Shipping to Northern NJ was quoted at roughly $500. Contact Zenith directly for a current, up-to-date shipping quote for your precise location, and for additional carrier requests.

Methods of Accepting Delivery

Many of our fellow builders have excellent ideas about how to get this massive crate back on home turf, where parts can be safely inventoried and examined for damage. Before ordering your kit, consider one of the following methods of delivery, or propose your own!

Rent a U-haul

Have your kit delivered to a freight terminal, and pick up the crate using a U-haul truck. Most likely, the freight terminal will be happy to assist you in loading the crate into the truck, usually by forklift. Once you arrive home, you can unpack the crate at your leisure.

Trailer/Pickup Truck

Have your kit delivered to a freight terminal, and have the folks there load it onto your 1/2 ton pickup truck with their fork. Make sure to hang a highly visible red cloth / flag off the end of the box if it sticks out past the bed of the truck.
