I have received several confirmations. However, I flight plans have changed.
After departing Mobile, AL on Friday afternoon, we will fly direct to Alexander
City, AL (ALX) and spend the night there. Departing EARLY Saturday morning
for High Valley Resort.
Hope to see some more Kitfoxes there!

How about planning a barbecue? If we can use their grill, I can bring some burgers
and dogs.. It's only a one hour trip for me so I can take a small cooler.
Or perhaps it would make more sense to wait and see how many people will actually
come and then make a trip into town for provisions...

I have some plans out in my shop where someone use PCV pipe that slipped into
the ends of the spars and the wing could be rotated around as use work on it.
Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig then up. Leon Morris/Classic

My wings have permanently attached droop tips so that needs to be taken into
account. What have you used, what worked well, simple to build... I am re-covering
the wings on my model 3 and was hoping for a better way to handle the wings
during this process. Help!

Harold,
I made a spreader bar that I could bolt onto a rotating engine stand and
the spars. On the wingtip end I made a stand from conduit that I could
stick in the wingtip light mounting hole. Then I could ratate as necessary
and stop at nearly any angle.

All,
I just found out about this Memorial Day weekend fly-in
north of Los Angeles. Lowell and some of his crowd went to this last
year and had some fun. Info: http://www.brianranch.com/page0005.html

Same here...PVC pipe and fittings, allowing the wing to rotate. I
went a step further and made a brake of sorts that will keep the wing
at any position in the rotation.
Your situation, Harold, is one that made me fasten my tips on with
machine screws and anchor nuts...removable.

What type BSR do you have? Soft pack or canister? I have canister type direction
with crude photos from BRS. I also have photos of my installation on the mounting
of the 1600lbs soft pack. This is basically for the model 5 and later but
may give you ideas for earlier model. Soft pack I can e-mail - canister by Fax.
