any ATV shop can take it off, fix it and have it back on in a few minutes for a few bucks. I change mine by pulling the valve stem. then putting the edge of the tire under the car tire and pulling forward. It will pop it right off, just don't stick it under too far or you can bend the rim. Harbor freight has what you need for a few bucks too http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=34552 you will need the ATV adapter for 3.99 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=36448 -------- DO NOT ARCHIVE Leonard Perry Soldotna AK Avid "C" / Mk IV 582 IVO IFA Full Lotus 1260 95% complete Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 1794#201794

Off topic? The other day, I received an order from John and Debra at Kitfox aircraft . Included with the order was an 2 oz. package of Kar's Salted Nuts (See photo). Are they trying to tell me something? Anyway, I'm installing brakes on the right side and will consume the nuts, with a beer, when the job is done.... The other day, I received an order from John and Debra at Kitfox aircraft . Included with the order was an 2 oz. package of Kar's Salted Nuts (See photo). Are they trying to tell me something? Subject: Re: Oil / Oil filter recomendation for 912UL
I used AV-9 for a while. I switched to Pennzoil Motorcycl Motor oil because, as I recall, Rotax had done some research on foaming of the various oils and had not to that point tested the AV-9. I think I remember that the new dipstick introduced at that time (that would give a time frame in the Service Letters), which put the full mark a bit higher on the stick, was a result of the foaming issue. It seems that the folks trying to have us all live forever found something that would take a minute or two off our lives in the antifoaming additives and made it a no no. Without the additive, Rotax got a bit anxious and went over the recommended list again. I know of no current info. Pete, I have broken the bead several times by putting the wheel and tire on the ground over a patch of old carpet and driving the front tire of my truck onto it. It helps to have a guide man - my wife, in my case. It takes a while and be careful you don't cut your truck tire or bend the ATV rim. I never did, but was careful. I did once try one of the small tire changing units from Harbor Freight and damaged the rim where the grease cup attatches. I fixed it with a lathe.
