Part of the Rotax dominance is that it has been around longer. I
suspect that once Jabiru settles down and decides how it wants to
build engines, and then leaves them alone, it will see a greater
share of the market.

Has anyone had experience with the Rotax 670 engine? Rotax Rick sells
them on Barnstormers. From his ads he appears to be experienced in providing
rebuilt Rotax engines. I thought the 670, if setup properly, might be the
way to go for added power. My limited experience with my 582 leads me to
recommend Rotax as a very reliable 65 HP engine. Remember this thread's
question was for powering a mod 5 with 100 HP.

I had a 65 hp in a Challenger 2. Flew it year round for 2 yrs. No
problems. With that, the hp, and weight reduction. Major weight
reduction. It sounded kind of interesting. Selling the NSI Cheap.
