Brian,
Sorry for the delay in coming back, Your intake looks very interesting and a
similar sort of concept to what I had fitted on my old Jab engine. It
worked really well with no performance or engine o/heating issues. My new
engine is much more of a problem and very close to the firewall. I have a
number of ideas and the favourite - I think - is to penetrate the firewall
with a stainless tube ( belled out cobra style) and to then come back out
into the engine bay. By eliminating my current hot air system with the
electric heater I gain some more space for an improved filter system,
