Subject: | Radiator Sealant Usage for pin hole leaks |
All,
My 582 has developed a pin hole leak in one of the radiators. Having gone
through the experience of having to remove one in the past (not fun), I'd
like to avoid that. Has anyone use radiator sealant that you can buy at the
auto parts stores to solve small leaks?
thanks!

Mike:
I used "Bar's Radiator Stop Leak" to repair a leak in an aluminum
radiator that was discovered by Jim Schmitt when I arrived at the Pulsar
Fly-in at San Marcos, TX back in 2008.
Needed a couple of treatments before I was satisfied it would get me
back to California.
Performed flawlessly on the trip back and for 50 hours afterward
until I eventually replaced the radiator.
