I use mostly 87 octane auto fuel in my Rotax 912UL Pulsar. Would the product STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment help avoid possible engine trouble? Someone gave me a bottle of Marine formula.

Pulsar pilots STA-BIL is a great product and I have used it for years in my 2-cycle equip ment.=C2- The biggest advantage is the prevention of deterioration of the fuel tanks by neutralizing the ethanol in the fuel.=C2- It has been used with great secuss =C2- on boats in the area that had fiberglass fuel tan ks. I don't think it will change the engine performance . Hi Bob, Centered about 20 km SE of Christchurch. Major devastation in Christchurch and the port of Lyttleton. Magnitude 6.3 which is less than the earlier quake, but it was much closer and shallow. It occurred close to 1pm so lots of people around and in buildings. Death toll 65 and rising. Wall to wall TV news presently but of course most people in Christchurch are not able to see what is happening because power is off. Huge infrastructure and building damage. We felt nothing here and it is quite draining watching it unfold on TV, but not being in a position to help. Try this - - - http://nz.yahoo.com/?p=us Videos are starting to appear on U tube too. Brian I have sent a text to Jerry Savage who lives in Rangiora but I have not had a reply. I'm sure he will be okay out there but I don't want to post anything to the group as yet. I imagine the network is jammed. Cliff Hi Bob, Centered about 20 km SE of Christchurch. Major devastation in Christchurch and the port of Lyttleton.
