Subject: Re: Autopilot - Making The Case
My Navaid autopilot servo has just died again - now trips out the
breaker every time I try to engage it. I'll take a peak inside but I
'don't do' electronics and with Navaid having gone out of business maybe
it is time to replace the entire system. I'm looking at the Stratomaster
Xtreme multifunction unit with at least a wing leveller servo attached
but possibly also an altitude hold servo as well - I'll be looking at
the Trutrak as well before I make a decision and possibly have to
rebuild my panel.
Question: How have others configured the servo connection to the
elevator control system? Any photos would be handy. Thanks very much.
