I should be able to make the Texas location. My Pulsar Sp100 is flying
so should be a good trip.

Bob and Jim, it does not look like we have much interest in a Pulsar
gathering this year. I got less than ten replies.
I will send out another query to see if we get more takers.

Flying to Texas is worth it just for Jim's BBQ. I still vote for Texas

Some of you might remember meeting my buddy and sometimes co-pilot,
Jack, who attended the 2007 Pulsar fly-in with me in Lawrence. Jack is a
retired military jet pilot and avid RC jet modeler. For years we've
talked about making a trip to the Air Force museum at Wright-Patterson
AFB in Dayton, OH. It just so happens that this year, that will also be
the host location of the Jet World Masters competition where about 100
of the world's best jet modelers are invited to compete and show their
stuff. This competition is held once every two years and this will be
the first time it has been held in the USA and Jack says probably the
last in his lifetime. These model jets feature real turbine engines and
fly in excess of 200 mph. In the hands of a master pilot, they are a
sight to behold!
We are planning to attend the two week event for a few days during
the last week of July
http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123245903 and I
thought there might be some of you who might be interested in joining up
while we're there for the jet event or the museum or both. I don't know
yet which airport we'll be flying in to or where we'll be staying (any
Pulsar people nearby?) but one thing's for sure, where Pulsar people
gather, there's sure to be a good time.
Let me know if you'd like to meet up. Otherwise, I hope to see
everyone at the Pulsar fly-in, wherever and whenever it happens this
year. Greg, I sold my house in Austin along with my smoker but I'm
working on acquiring another (smoker) and would love to throw down some
good Texas BBQ again for the group if we meet in central Texas.
Jim

Dates are good but would need time before to plan. Love it if it was in
Texas as I love those Texans and it would be neat to see the project and
Mark Brown but either venue would work I guess.

Guys, I am trying this query again in hopes we will have more interest
in a Pulsar reunion this year. It is looking like we would schedule this
one for late September or October.
Kansas is the easiest to arrange but we can try San Marcos, Texas.
Please let me know if you plan to attend, date preference, and location
preference.
Thanks
Greg

Everett,
What's the latest on your Pulsar? Did you find the issue with the engine
quitting?
Best to Alice,
Mike
