Hey Pulsar 582 owners:
I came across an ad for a Pulsar XP a while ago which has since sold. Only the
vendor had a Rotax 618 engine instead of a 912 (or 582). Got me thinking that
perhaps it might be a safe upgrade for some 582 owners out there? She also had
some books and manuals she wants to sell.
Here's her details if any wants to check it out - good luck!:

The Rotax 618 has the same bore as the 582. Difference is in the longer
stroke and RAVE exhaust valves. These are very strong engines and where
discontinued by Rotax because of the release of 912 engines. Key to
performance with this engine was it's finely tuned Rotax exhaust system.
