Brian Anderson has a Pulsar XP not to far after mine and it has the

I just checked and the serial number of Brian Anderson=99s pulsar
is 456. So between 403 and 456 the ribs were changed. I think
Brian=99s Pulsar XP would have been one of the last that Aero
Designs produced?

Serial 367 had the blue foam except for #1 (and maybe the one just outboard
of the tank), which was brown foam.

No they are not the same as lord mounts. These are for
the bed mount Pulsars. I think the Lord mounts started
with the Series II.
I did not stop to think that there was a change in the
engine mounting.

I have nearly 250 hours on a Pulsar XP with blue foam ribs and have experie
nced no fuel damage to ribs.- During first 100 hours, I had to rework win
g fuel tanks close out plate seal area on both wings 2 or 3 times.- I fib
er glassed wing root cuff seals on the fuselage to create a gap seal on bot
h the upper and lower wing surfaces.- It may very well be air flow while
in flight, where there is in adequate gap seal (upper and lower surfaces),
that poses the greatest risk for fuel vapor entering the interior of an aff
ected wing.- In the past, I have had-puddles of gasoline on the floor a
rea under my hangar parked Pulsar (due to leaking tank end plates).- Upon
removing wing-inspection plates (not optional in my opinion) found no si
gns of blue wing-foam deter-oration.- The wing gap seal should extend a
ll the way around the wing-fuselage intersection along the lower surface of
wing root up to the wing flap.

Barry,
For what it's worth, I purchased new rubber parts for my engine mount in
2009 during the fire reconstruction from http://aircraft-specialties.com/
using part number 530740. I checked on current pricing for someone else a
couple months ago and found they were available at $23.38 each (8 required).
They appeared identical to my original parts supplied by Skystar.

Hugh,
Are they the same as the J3608-1 Lord mounts. Did they use the same
mounts for the bed mounts? I have a truss mount set up.
Thanks,
