Pulsar Owners,=0A=0AFor those with-the Usher-UD3 fuel cap this may be o
f interest.=0A=0AOver the years the fuel cap on the header tank of my Pulsa
r increasingly became =0Aharder to have the release lever snap closed and f
lush with the rest of the cap =0Aand its installation ring.- I replaced t
he two O-rings (large outside and small =0Ainner) with no effect on how wel
l it closed.- I contacted Usher and they sent me =0Aa stainless steel pie
ce to replace the small rectangular rubber piece (gasket =0Alike thing) tha
t the handle presses into when the cap is engaged closed.=0A=0AWhat a diffe
rence!!!- The cap lever now snaps in place, truly flush.- I can more
=0Aeasily adjust the fit, turning the bottom half disc and drawing up the l
ock =0Anut.- I understand there was a time when Usher made-this change
to the fuel caps =0Athey were producing.- May be worthwhile checking if y
ou have this type.=0A=0AI don't see this replacement part at Aircraft Spruc
e so I believe that the only =0Asource is Usher directly.=0A=0AFun, safe fl
