Greg:
Kathleen and I regret that we will have to miss this year's event. We
are making great progress on getting the remodel of the Hill Top Lakes
home finished, but we still have a ways to go. My house "honey do" list
is still very long. I have just now gotten all the house "stuff" out of
the hangar and have started the process of setting up the
hangar/workshop like I want it. I still have a lot of redoing to get the
storage I need and all my shop stuff in the proper place so I can find
my tools! The Pulsar kit is right in the middle of the hangar resting
in its crates.........hope to get back to it soonest!
All is well...just taking too long to get there!

This week I was in ST Louis and happened upon the Swift convention. I
counted 40 aircraft on the field. What a great looking airplane. I sure
wish we could get 40 Pulsars to our event.
To date, we have two aircraft scheduled to fly in and seven
reservations. It is not looking promising this year. With fuel prices
running 6 - 7 dollars a gallon, it may be a budget issue. Anyway, hope
we get more reservations before the end of the month.

As of a week ago, there were fewer than 3500 responses to the EAA/AOPA
petition regarding elimination of the third class medical for sport
flying. The EAA and AOPA are hoping for at least 5000 responses before
this closes next week. You can read the petition on line and enter your
response on line at the address below. If this petition doesn't go
through, this may be your last opportunity in the foreseeable future to
push back on the third class medicals, so don't wait until it affects you.
