I am 6ft 2" tall and I have done the following mod. to fit in. I have
cut the original back rest and shaped it in "S" form to follow the spine
curve and used for the seat cushion 1" thick Confor foam medium blue. I
find it very comfortable without taking too much of the headroom.
On the picture the red dotted line represents the original shape. The
black stripes are velcro stuck on with cyanoacrylate glue to keep
cushions in place.

Doug,
This is more of a structural change, but you would gain some head room by
moving the top of the seat back thereby increasing the angle at which one
is reclining .

Hi Esa,
thanks, yes, I make these...
The bulb outside box is one being replaced. The bayonet pins are offset.
There is ballast in each supply line. You can use existing wiring, only
cut the positive going to the socket and wire in the ballast.
