Hi -- are you located in SC? If you ever make it up to NC I'd love to see your
plane (or if you're in Northern SC I'll fly to you!
I'm in with a partner looking at purchasing a pulsar II, and candidly have done
as much research as the internet will allow me to do before simply meeting somebody
else in the area.

Hi,
Myself and a partner (or two) are looking into taking the plunge on a Pulsar II
with about 100 hrs on it (Apparently its been sitting for the last 10 years,
and only started flying a year ago). Condition inspection has been brought up
to airworthy, however some of the weights/speeds/climbs aren't quite what i'm
used to seeing, and am in hopes that somebody can clarify what I'm finding here.
I'm being told cruise will be around 115mph with a Jabiru 2200 motor, on 4-4.5gph.
Climb = 700fpm (seems low?)
Gross = 1200lbs - can this be bumped up to 1300?
I'm also reading that wheel pants from a RV12 (at least the nose) will improve
performance a bit.
What other questions should I be asking this seller particular to the Pulsar aircraft?
Both myself and the airplane are in NC, in case anybody knows the plane/seller.
Thanks!

I own a Pulsar III which was put in service on March 15 2012. I have a
Jabiru 2200 with a ground adjustable Sensenich prop. I am experiencing 140
at 2950 rpm at about 4-4.5/hr. I think that when the airplane is
registered ar a certain weight that is it. I am at max 1250 and have not
had any trouble at gross. Two people at 230+ and full fuel. It is cramped,
no doubt, but manageable. If you would like more info you can email me at
lwheat2083@gmail.com and I also have some videos on You Tube of some test
flight. Look for Pulsar III test flights.
