I have the Pulsar XP form 1995 era. I was trying to get the nav light
lenses off to replace the vent line houses inside....and since I silicone'd
them in so well, of course they broke getting them off.
I can't remember who in the group I bought them from.
Does anyone know who made them in our group or how to get a hold of a pair
of red and green lenses ?
Thanks

I have the molds that were used to make the lenses, but not the skills. I
have tried several hardware bought plastics but have not been successful. If
anyone in the group has experience with hand molding plastic, please
contact me.

Greg,
Do a search on :-
Drape forming acrylic sheet
Drape forming plastic
Drape forming Perspex
You must know which you are going to use, a plastics supplier could tell
you which to use on your moulds & give you some hints.

Greg=2C I too have molds and a home vacuum mold system for small parts =2C
but no more plastic sheets. Getting material to soften correctly and not bu
bble was very problematic so I went thru a lot of material to get a good se
t made. My molds were for an original Pulsar 582 plane.

Hello Group,
I have posted another trip report on my web site. I had flown to San Jose,
CA to see the Solar Impulse and talk to the pilots on how it flies. I
thought it was appropriate to go to see this world's largest motorglider in
my motorglider and it was a lot of fun.
The report is here http://www.caro-engineering.com at the top, under 'News'.
A video is here: http://youtu.be/Qne92wPUUI0
Enjoy,
Sonja
