I have the molds that were used to make the lenses, but not the skills. I
have tried several hardware bought plastics but have not been successful. If
anyone in the group has experience with hand molding plastic, please contact
me.

I have the Pulsar XP form 1995 era. I was trying to get the nav light lenses
off to replace the vent line houses inside....and since I silicone'd them in
so well, of course they broke getting them off.
I can't remember who in the group I bought them from.
Does anyone know who made them in our group or how to get a hold of a pair
of red and green lenses ?
Thanks

Hello Mr. Truex, haven't talked to you in a long time, hope all is going
well. When I ran the Canopy business we had several methods of forming
plastic for canopies, but on my KR-1, I used a similar method
http://blog.makezine.com/2011/09/08/how-to-large-homemade-vacuum-forming-machine/ for light
lens that of course can be modified for simplification. One can use a home
oven for heating Plexiglas but be aware of the plastic degassing issues, but
the process is easy and expect failures until all the mistakes have been
concurred with and for vacuum use a shop vac. Do a search on vacuum forming
or Plexiglas forming and many ideas will be discovered
Another method I used for R/C Planes was similar but did not use vacuum. I
had the male plug or shape of the part in basswood, hard balsa, filled with
bondo and sanded smooth then make a female part shaped like the bottom of
the plug that is the thickness of the Plexiglas larger than bottom of the
part. Clamp the Plexiglas in a frame and heat until the Plexiglas was
sagging in the frame and jiggled like jello. Take the frame with Plexiglas and
quickly pressing over the male mold then using the part that was made
earlier and press over the part..this stretches the Plexiglas over the male mold
to dimension.

Due to not flying my Pulsar much I have decided to sell it "firewall
aft" and keep the 914 and prop for a future project.
It is a skystar series 3 with 300+ hours on it, Aluminum gear.
Can be viewed on Barnstormers N20334
