Subject: | Fuel Cell Sealant |
Today I drained out some fuel from my Pulsar after the plane had not
been fired up for about seven weeks.
The fuel was a light amber color.
I assume that ethanol is beginning to dissolve the coating in the fuel cells.
What is the latest recommendation for fuel cell sealant that is
resistant to ethanol ? ? ? ?
Thanks in advance for the recommendations.

We have one builder that needs a large wheel fork. In 2006 we made up some
but they are gone. Is there anyone else that would like a fork. Cost is
estimated at $150. If we have enough interest I will see if can get the molds
and make them up.

Look at PR1750 A & B-with a pot life up to 4 hours and is brushable.- I
t is a polysulfide product that is more flexible than Jeffco and is highly
rated for various chemicals including alcohol.- I just received a minimum
order from Bergandal of 2 24 oz. kits.- I have to reseal a header tank o
n my 912XP.- The material is expensive.=0ADave Weaver- N912GR=0A =0A=0A
