Went flying the other day and my Garmin Pilot III shot craps. It is amazing
how much I have grown to rely on that little screen. Anyway, I am in the
market for a replacement so if anyone has a portable GPS for sale, please
let me know. It must be portable, no place on the panel for permanent
installation. I do not care if it has weather or a color screen. Just need
something reliable that is still supported with updates.
Thanks
Greg Smith

I have one that still works fine, but it has the Oceania maps, and it is not possible
to update or replace with a different set.
Decided to replace it with the Garmin Aera a few months back when I was offered
one at a good price. Have to say the GPS works really well but the maps of NZ
are pretty poor.
Also decided to use an iPad mini with Air Nav Pro. Brilliant with the NZ maps.
The Pilot 111 could do with a new home.

Sonja - I have a Pilot III, which mounts nice on top of panel, which is
available. Have not updated it the last couple years, since I'm no longer
flying. Care to make an offer? Rev. Orv Krohn olk@plateautel.net
