From: GREGSMI@aol.com Clarke Coulter just reported his nose gear failed on take off. His landing was uneventful but the plane did sustain damage. His nose gear is the Aerodesigns gear with the spindle shaft welded inside a collar. Since the failure is occurring inside the collar, there is no way to inspect. If you have one of these nose gears you should look on the forum to see what modifications others have done to make this area stronger and easy to inspect. It could save you from having to rebuild your aircraft.
