      I replaced mine using the one Sonja recommends and it is working great, just as
      she says. Price online can vary a lot so shop around for it.

      For those that may someday need the answer....like my good friend Dave.........with
      the help of a number of folks in the Group, I think I have nailed down the
      proper heater core to use as a 582 radiator for the 582 Pulsar. Best.....I can
      do.......research indicates the following:
      
      1. Core is for a 1985 Ford E-250 Econoline Club Wagon (and likely many other years)
      2. Size is 2"x8"x7.75" (best size info I have)
      3. Manufacturer is Vista-Pro Ready-Aire 
      4. Part number is 399006
      5. Available from Summit Racing Equipment 
      6. Price Is $49.97
      
      Many thanks to all that provided information on this question. 
      
      If any of this is wrong I am sure the knowledgeable folks in the group will help
      get the right info in place.
