All,
The push rods are actually easy to make using the old one as a guide. Buy some
aluminum rod stock from Home Depot, cut to length, slot one end, and then turn
down one end to fit inside the bearing race. Actually if you use the DL12 thrust
bearing I added a brass bushing behind the turned down section to provide
a little additional contact with the rear bearing race.

I have now removed my prop, the bearings are all but gone and the tip
of the rod was sheared off. With the dual bearing design, it is going
to be more difficult to make an adapter for a different bearing and a
new rod.

Hey Casey, lets get Greg and Rick together. Rick has plenty of room.
Just ask his wife. I think three large rv's showing up might put a bit
of a strain on his electric meter, but heck, he's rich.
We are out and about traveling the East Coast. Having a blast.

Thanks for sharing the trip report and video (and the excellent content
on your website). Made it out to the airport for the first time in ages
last night. I do have a small restore project ahead of me to get my
plane back in the air, but it is posts like this that could motivate me
to get started. What started as a small fuel leak now is a project that
has not seen any attention in too long. But there have been other
adventures too.
Also sold our RV, but don=99t despair Greg we can meet
you in the Airstream we just bought ;).
