Subject: We lost a good friend today
Many of you that attended the fly-in in San Marcos will remember Julius
Braun. Julius passed away this morning. He was with the Mark when the
StarLite was launched and he was with Aerodesigns at Oshkosh.
Julius, a retired US Army General, worked with the German scientist at
White Sands, developing the US rocket program. Over the years, I have enjoyed
visiting with Julius, he always had some great stories and was a wealth of
knowledge. He will be missed.
