    Subject: nose wheel fork issues
Need help with 2 issues with my nose wheel fork. The 9/16 threads on the right side of the nose wheel fork are worn out so the axle attach bolt just passes thru the nose fork and threads into the axle. Result is some play on the axle and uneven nose tire wear. Can a machine shop install new metal insert and tap the threads to 9/16th? Is there some other repair? Or should I try to replace the nose wheel fork which is otherwise OK?? Where find replacement? The 2nd issue is the 2 aluminum spacers that slide over the axle has worn down on the ends, become shorter, so when the nose wheel tire is fully inflated, the tire scrapes on the inside of the nose wheel fork. Where can I get new (bit longer) aluminum spacers on the axle?? What would be the specs of those spacers if shopping for them?? I am stumped and grounded, appreciate any helpful information.
