Hi members of the list,
I just bought a Pulsar XP, does exist some precautions of flying in the rain?
With my powered glider it was very hard to takeoff with wet wings.
best regards
Arno

No problem, just the visibility through the canopy gets bad, no windshield
wipers!

Hi Sonja,
isn't the prop wash strong enough to clean the windshield ;-)?
Thank you for the immediate reply.

Flies fine in the rain. A Few Precautions:
1) Make sure you have a seal behind the leading edge of the canopy... otherwise,
rain will sneak through underneath the canopy.
2) Don't fly if it's likely to hail. Hail can tear up the leading edge of your
wing -- even if it is fiberglass. Even light hail will tear up your paint job.

Light drizzle is particularly bad too. Just completely fogs up the canopy and does
not disperse in the slipstream. Then if there is light from either side, or
behind, it is almost impossible to see forward, because of the internal reflections.
Been there, done that. Its like flying into cloud.
