If your fuel tank sealant dates back to the manufacture of your kit, that alone suggests that the material should be discarded. My only experience is with Jeffco (now Rhino) was good. Two coats of Jeffco was the standard coating that provided a stable surface for application of Chemseal polysulfide sealant for senders and removable access plates. Clyde, The epoxy we used was good for fuel. We followed the construction manual and coated the tanks inside fiberglass parts with epoxy Best, Ned On Jan 25, 2020, at 7:01 AM, David Weaver <mortweaver@sbcglobal.net> wrote: If your fuel tank sealant dates back to the manufacture of your kit, that alone suggests that the material should be discarded.
