Lance;
I have flown a 6 person with headset and an inch of clearance to canopy in mine
but I had made the passenger seat thinner when I built it to allow for more headroom.
Leg room is plenty for a tall person.
My seat thinckness on passenger side is about 1 1/2 and same on back cushion.
