Hi Forrest;
Are you looking for external marking decals or cockpit placards?
If the latter I make a complete set for both cockpits.

In my own experience they re-issued the OL even though I kept the same N number.
Additionally, I found that the FSDO was not up to speed on the EAA-Warbirds
2 inch N-number waiver program. The EAA makes this real easy for us.

Also please realize the FAA/FSDO has the right to reissue operating limitations
as they so choose based on changes they deem necessary for the safe operation
of the experimental aircraft.

My two cents...
Keith, you're exactly right about the strut noise, if it's coming
whilst the plane is rocking back, it's the nose gear strut
extending. A common sound when taxing the plane at Oshkosh.
We use ADC oil filters on our aircraft and are very pleased with the
installation. Check them out at http://
www.aviationdevelopment.com/. Not only does it double the interval
between oil changes as any oil filter will do, but this also is
"smart" and will let you know when it's time to clean the
screen....no spin on filter...and has additional add on features of
chip detection and low oil pressure warning.
