No waste and very little filing is needed. >--> Zenith-List message posted by: "Zodie Rocket" ><zodierocket@hsfx.ca> >Olfa P-800 check out >http://www.ch601.org/tools/olfa.htm Find your next car at http://autos.yahoo.ca

--> Zenith-List message posted by: "Paul Hartl" <paulhartl@cox.net> Another nice all-in-one radio is the XCOM760 ( http://www.mcp.com.au/xcom760/ ). It's very small (2.25" diameter panel hole), has "dual watch" - allowing you to monitor two frequencies at once - a built-in intercom, memory functions, frequency swap, 6 watts transmitter output, music input, and several NOAA weather frequencies pre-programmed into the memory. Mine has worked very well for these first 17.6 hours of flight (but who's counting?). It's about $1050 at current exchange rates - made in Australia. -Paul -- Paul Hartl, N414PZ, 601HDS/Jabiru 3300A Flight Simulator 2002/4 Zodiac Website: www.members.cox.net/paulhartl Sun Valley, Idaho 83340 208-788-9147

Knife and straight edge (zodie rocket) for wing and stab spars is the only way to fly (pun intended) if you lack a sharp 10' hydrolic shear, and straight and offset red and green come in handy too for close and curved work. Stomp shears are nice too for the small parts up to .090. Ahh,,,,,,, acquiring tools is half the fun, for me anyways. Regards, Roy, 701 plans ect do not archive

--> Zenith-List message posted by: Brett Hanley <bretttdc@yahoo.com> I cut out my plane almost exclusively with Malco shears. They have a aluminum body and replaceable steel blades. Mine where purchased about thirty years ago for Formica installation. I have never replaced the blades and they still cut great. Malco produces them in two sizes. I have the larger size. My friend bought the smaller size when he started his plane. Both are a joy in the hand. For long straight cuts the large ones are the best in my not so humble opinion. They are available from Aircraft tool and supply as well as Aircraft Spruce and Specialty company.
