Subject: | Chat Room Reminder |
We have a brand new chat room for the Zenith group ready for use. Please
click on the link below to be on your way there.
While at the web site, please take a look at the new stuff for Experimental
Aircraft Builders that I am in the process of making.
You can also look at it from the "Chat" page. Click on the link at the
bottom of the page to "Pop" it up.
May be something there that you will be able to use in your build. The
newest additions are CNC cut Insturment Bezels, Adaptors, and Cover Plates.
Coming soon, Tie Down Rings for the Ch-701 and a real neat Inspection
Opening Kit that will be ideal for the bottom of the CH-701 wings, along
with other aircraft.

Rick,
I am the President of a small EAA UL/LSA chapter (106U) operating about
3-degrees north of you. We have 3 701's in our club as well as almost a
dozen other aircraft. We fly every Saturday and, since some of us are
retired, we fly during the week as well. Most of our flights are short
(e.g., along the coast and Russian River) in deference to the guys in
the club flying with Rotax 503's. However, we do plan a few multi-day
trips each year. This year we plan to leave Petaluma on the following
multi-day trips (subject to change):
-18-Apr Sierra mountain Flyin (2-days) to KTRK-Truckee
-23-May 2-days to triangle to Watsonville Air Show, Castle Museum Open
cockpit day, and home (KWVI-Watsonville & to KMER-Castle AFB)
-30-May Flight to Spruce Goose Museum (4-5 days to KMMV-Mc Minnville
Or.) w/Lodi's LSA group
-27-Jun Lake Pillsbury flyin/Camp-out (2-3 days) to 1Q5-Gravelly Valley
-22-Aug Flight to Trinity Alps. Camp-out (2-3-days) to o86-Trinity
Center
For the past few years a few of us have also flown to Page Az (Monument
Valley, Grand Canyon, etc.) But this year I plan to fly to Oshkosh so I
won't be going to Az.
You are welcome to join us on any of these trips.
