I am planning of flying to the Last Big Splash but am looking for a fueling  stop or 2.  I am based near Charlotte NC on straight floats.  At in  the middle or just south of it would be great.  I could top off at Lake  Jocasse near Clemson an hour from home and fly for a few more hours. or 250 to  300 miles depending on winds.  I am looking for fresh water and a place to  camp or a hotel for Friday night the 25th of September.  I would like to  stop for gas on the way home on Sunday the 27th.  I will bring gas cans and  can use premium auto fuel or 100 octane.
