I have years worth of gunk from masking tape and electrical insulation tape
that is stuck to my windows.
Any hints on how I can clean them??
Thanks

I use PLEXUS for my windshield. You may have to do it more than once over a few days if the sticky gunk is real thick. Otherwise 2000 grit sandpaper may be needed but that is in an extreme situation.

Test some Goo-B-Gone on it and check the label for compatible use. I have used it on many occasions with great results. Use very soft cloth and liberal application. Soap and water to Wash off residue.

I had success with Goo gone. Doesn't harm the windows.

I would start with a plastic polish from the an auto parts store. If that is not working then try a more abrasive rubbing compound. If you have too you can use 2000 grit sandpaper and then buff it back out. I buffed my windows while I was buffing my paint using 3M paint buffing compound, but after that I clean them with plastic polish.
A headlight cleaning kit is a good place to start. It is amazing how many cars have yellowed headlights considering how easy it is to clean off the oxidation.
