Aerosport Products now has available new Low profile door handles for the RV-10. These can be added to a new build or retrofit to flying aircraft. They also work great with the Planearound saftey latch. Introductory cost is $345.00 plus shipping.

These handles come with everything you need accept for the ACS door locks. These can be purchased from Aircraft Spruce part #11-01600.

These door handles are not listed on the website yet. They are direct order at this time.

I bought the original ACS kit and have one lock unit left. Is it possible to order another single unit that that is matched to the same key or match them afterward?

You can special order from ACS matched key locks, but they will not/cannot match your existing locks. On a new order, they can also match key to their ignition switch.

These door handles look amazing. I ordered a set right away.



However, im disappointed to hear ACS cant match the lock/keys. I have 

the ignition, baggage and a single door set from long ago. however, i 

need another door lock for the passenger door. i was hoping they could 

match it, but it sounds like they wont. ill have to figure something 

else out or live with an extra key.



actually, i thought of another question. is it possible to lock or 

unlock the door from the inside? im thinking passenger door mainly here, 

or do we have to walk around the outside to lock the door from the 

outside? also, what if passenger door is already locked, can we unlock 

from the inside?

Aircraft spruce can match new locks to your existing lock, it costs $10 more as they get drop shipped from the manufacture to your house.  I ordered them Friday by giving them the code on my current keys.

I am glad to hear that ACS has changed their position on this. Three - 4 years ago, when I tried to order additional locks keyed to match my ignition switch, they wouldn't do it.

I just made this custom order with Spruce last week. I ordered the ignition key switch w/ 2 door locks (PN 11-03171), and a pair of locks (PN 11-01600) all keyed the same. The guy I placed the order with over the phone didn't inspire a lot of confidence...



I'll let you know what actually shows up in the mail!
