This project is a low voltage warning module based on Mr. Nuckolls' AEC 9005-110-X schematic, which he proposed in 2002 (attached below). This circuit monitors the connected bus voltage and flashes an LED at 1 Hz whenever the bus is below 13.0V.
To the best of my knowledge, the 2002 preliminary design was never prototyped or turned into a product.
It seemed very useful, so I re-drew the schematic, laid out a circuit board and tested the module. It works exactly as expected. Documentation is attached to this post, which includes links for circuit boards and components.
If this interests you, don't order anything immediately. I'll be offering many of my recent prototypes to forum members within the next few days, once I get them organized...
