Gentlemen: This Rotax SB requires the 50/50 water/glycol coolant temperature to be measured between the engine expansion tank and the radiator. This means that the sending unit must be a type that can be mounted in the coolant line itself in some manner. All the temperature-sending units I have seen are the type that screws into the engine block. Does any one know of a sending unit that can be connected to the coolant line??

Grand Rapids sells an inline sensor that fits in the hose to or from the radiator.

It’s probably on the wrong side of the pond for you, but the UK Rotax distributor sells a complete kit for this.

Grand Rapids Tech. has a piece of tubing that has a fitting welded to it to take a temp probe. The piece of tubing fits in the hose. They also have one with room for a pressure fitting also.
